Raleigh, NC. - The Auburn Gymnastics team (3-3, 0-3 SEC) won its quad-meet with N.C. State, George Washington and TWU with a season-high team score of 195.925. The Auburn trio of Lindsey Puckett, Julie Dwyer and A.J. Mills took the top all-round scores.

"We are really proud of how all of our gymnasts performed today," said Auburn head coach Jeff Thompson. "It was a very close meet going into the last event and our team did not let the surroundings or the other teams affect what we did on our last event to finish the meet. It is a great road win and more importantly a great away score."

Junior Puckett earned first place in the all-around for the second time this season, scoring 39.325. Dwyer took second scoring 39.300, followed by Mills with an all-around score of 39.200.

Puckett took first on vault scoring 9.900. Dwyer took first on beam also scoring 9.900. Auburn had a gymnast place in the top-three on all four events.

The Tigers started the meet on beam. Auburn led the meet after the first rotation with a beam score of 48.950, followed closely by N.C. State's 48.825 vault score.

Auburn stayed in the lead after the second rotation, with the Tigers on Floor (48.725), the Wolfpack on bars (48.800), the Colonials on beam (48.075) and the Pioneers on vault (47.950). A.J. Mills led Auburn with a 9.800 on floor. Puckett followed with a 9.775.

The Tigers widened the gap between them and the Wolfpack with a team score of 49.225, on vault, bringing their running score to 146.900, to N.C. State's 146.250, TWU's 144.450, and GW's 144.300.

Auburn solidified the win with solid bar performances from the line-up, scoring 49.025. Puckett and Dwyer each scored 9.825, followed by Mills and Voss, both scoring 9.800.

Auburn will continue its road tour on Friday, Feb. 8, facing LSU and West Virginia in Baton Rouge. The Tigers return to the Plains on Feb. 15, to host the Georgia Gym Dogs at 7 p.m., in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. Admission to all home meets is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Admission is free for Auburn students with a valid ID.
