Auburn, Ala. -- The Auburn Gymnastics Academy and the ESBC hosted the 7th annual Awards and Recognition Banquet at the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Colesium Scholarship Room tonight. Honored were all gymnasts who competed during the 2007-08 season with special recognition given to the AGA's eleven State Champions,

Auburn University senior gymnast and 3-time All-American Julie Dwyer was the guest speaker for the event and gave an inspired the AGA gymnasts to work hard, value their teammates and setting challenging goals.

In addition to the various participation awards handed out, special awards as voted on by the AGA coaches were presented to Bonnie Zhao for "Best Attitude", Sarah Hicks and Bailey Mims were both voted "Most Improved", Sarah Slay for "Top Compulsory Gymnast", and Victoria Fang for "Top Optional Gymnast."

AGA's ten new level 4 gymnasts were also introducted.
